At this age the children are ready to start labelling all that they have learnt so far. Pulse and rhythm are now combined together and the children start to do two different things at a time which leads onto two part singing. Solfa handsigns are developed to reinforce their sense of pitch and basic notation is introduced. At this preschool stage movement and coordination is also ready to be challenged further with more complex games and dances. Everything continues to be presented in a childlike way as in colourful ideas puppets, pictures, parachutes, dances, live music, percussion instruments, songs and rhymes.
